Please find below an introduction to our church leaders and members of staff.
Julius Adisa
Julius is now our Pastor.
Julius hopes to see God's Kingdom established and welcomes new believers with open arms. Julius is currently undergoing RLM (Recognised Local Minister) training with the London Baptist.
He and Janet have been married since 1987 and have three grown children. They both hope the church positively impacts the community by spreading the message.
Tolani Adejinmi. Husband, father, educator and servant of the gospel.
Tolani Adejinmi is, first and foremost, a man who loves Christ. His faith is the foundation of his life, shaping his family, his work and his service to the Church.
He is a devoted husband and the proud father of three boys, and he counts his family among God's richest blessings. His home life reflects a steady commitment to raising the next generation in the knowledge and love of the Lord.
Professionally, Tolani is an accomplished academic with more than 21 years of experience teaching Economics, Business and Finance. He holds an MBA from Heriot-Watt University and a degree in Economics from Ahmadu Bello University, and is preparing to undertake an MSc and PhD in Economics at the University of Greenwich.
Tolani serves as a Deacon at Dartford Baptist Church, where he is also currently the Church Treasurer. His record of ministry is long and faithful. He served for several years as Secretary of the Christian Men's Association, and he has pastored a branch of a church, shepherding a congregation with care and conviction. What drives him most is a deep passion to see the unconverted come to experience the full gospel of Jesus Christ, and to lead believers into a deeper understanding of the mystery of the cross.
Tolani is an avid and wide-ranging reader. His interests span ecclesiastical writing, economics, ancient world history, and warfare and military strategy, a breadth that enriches both his teaching and his ministry and gives him a distinctive perspective on faith, leadership and the human story.
Alma Campbell
Alma is our Deacon for Prayer. Alma is keen to see the church grow spiritually, to encourage those who do not have a relationship with Jesus to find one, and help them become a part of our church family.
Previously a nursery assistant and bank clerk, now retired, fills her time with; church work, her daughter and granddaughter, and husband Lloyd.
Kevin Hemmings
Kevin is a church Deacon.
Murielle "Christy" Njomgang
Christy is our Church Secretary in addition to being a Deacon.
Jessica Mahabir
Jessica is our Safeguarding Trustee in addition to her role as a Deacon.
A proud mother of three and a grandmother also, Jessica has been married for over 35 years.
Jessica was nominated to take up the position of Deacon which and accepted as she knew it was a path to serve God and the Dartford Baptist Church in a more meaningful way.
Jessica is keen to contribute to the Church in any way God calls her to.
